Crystal Usher is a native of Evansville, Indiana and resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. At an early age Crystal began to pursue her love for the Performing Arts. As early as the age of 6 she would perform in church and school plays, choir ensembles, talent shows and modeling events. Her family noticed the talent that was blossoming, so they made sure to encourage, nurture and support her talents and passion through lessons and education related to the arts.
Crystal continued to perform throughout High School and College singing in choirs, showcases and acting in Stage Plays. Upon her relocation to Indianapolis Crystal began to work in the beauty industry training to become a professional Make Up Artist while continuing to sing and act. In the last 16 years while living in Indianapolis, Crystal has performed in several stage productions such as, I Love Me Better Than That, For Colored Girls, Waiting to Exhale, School Daze the Musical and, Kiladelphia just to name a few. She’s also had roles in Short Films, Butterfly on A String, See Saw with Me and, Savannah Fire. She’s recently stepped into the role of Director. She’s currently directing her first Stage Play titled “Don’t Cast Your Pearls Before Swine” with Pearls Productions. Crystal continues to strive and pursue her passions in the Arts daily as well as being the Owner of Crystal Usher Makeup where she a Professional Make Up Artist. She is happily married to her husband Bradford and together they are raising their four beautiful children.
